Get notifiedSteven Pressfield called it Resistance. Julia Cameron called it the shadow artist. Bayles and Orland called it the gap between vision and ability. Different names for the same force: the one that stops creative work from happening. This course takes that force seriously. We read the primary texts, examine your own practice, and build the habits that let you work anyway. Four weeks. Reading, inventory, accountability, and the practice of showing up.
Week 1: Naming the enemy. What Resistance is, where it comes from, how it shows up in your life.
Week 2: Turning Pro. The decision that changes everything, and what it actually requires.
Week 3: The artist's life. Practices, accountability structures, and the things most likely to destroy them.
Week 4: Doing it anyway. Sustaining the work without external validation, finishing, sharing, beginning the next thing.
